After School Assistant Teacher (2:30–6:00 PM)

Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: In person – Whitestone, NY
Kiddie Academy of Whitestone is looking for a warm, energetic, and reliable Assistant Teacher to join our afternoon team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a consistent part-time schedule in a positive school environment.You’ll work alongside our teachers to help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow.
What You’ll Do
- Assist teachers with supervising children and classroom activities
- Help children during transitions, play time, and afternoon routines
- Support learning through games, activities, and hands-on play
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Encourage positive behavior and social skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older
- Experience working with children preferred (childcare, babysitting, camp, tutoring, etc.)
- Friendly, dependable, and patient
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
