You will dispatch loads from Columbus, Ohio typically on the weekend and usually Sundaymornings
Loads will be multiple stops Less than Truckload (LTL) loads with typically 6 to 8 stops on averageto various warehouse and distribution centers
Responsible for inspecting the truck before and after each trip, keeping the truck clean, andcommunicating professionally and timely with customers, colleagues, and FST employees
You will observe and comply with all traffic regulations - federal, state, and local, communicatewith Dispatch, Safety, FST, and customers using wireless devices or on-board computer systems,and ensure the safe transportation and delivery of freight to designated locations
You will operate an ELD logging device as well as operate various mobile applications
You will comply with all FMCSA and DOT rules and regulations as they pertain to the transportationindustry
Safety will be your number 1 priority
You will be expected to maintain all appropriate records such as: hours travelled, miles covered,expenses incurred, etc. and ensure that all necessary documentation with respect to freight isproperly filled out and submitted.
You will make sure all receipts are kept safe and secure, inspect your assigned vehicle regularly toidentify and repair minor faults as well as report major mechanical breakdown to your DispatchManager, and report any delay that may affect the timely delivery of freight to dispatch
You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of alltechnology platforms, as defined by FST

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Possess a valid CDL Class A license
This is a full-time position for regional truck drivers.
1 year verifiable experience in the past 5 years, 6 months within the past 3 years
Proficiency in truck driving and experience handling commercial vehicles
Familiarity with DOT regulations and other safety standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Clean driving record and adherence to company policies regarding road safety
Previous experience in OTR (over-the-road) trucking is preferred
Wage Range: 1250.00 - 2000.00 per week
