Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using schematics, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades on manufacturing machinery, including HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, industrial electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose electrical issues with tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters; perform electrical blueprint reading and electrical system analysis to identify root causes.
- Execute welding tasks using welding techniques when necessary for equipment repair or modification.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems to restore proper function efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex issues involving schematics, control panels, or low voltage electrical systems.
- Provide technical support during equipment installation, commissioning, or upgrades while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients or internal stakeholders regarding repair status or technical recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, electrical diagnostics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking; ability to document work accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, and other measurement tools.
- Skilled in welding techniques specific to welding standards; capable of performing equipment repairs requiring welding expertise.
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and industrial electrician practices; experience reading electrical blueprints is essential.
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work safely in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail; physical capability to handle lifting equipment like scissor lifts when required.
- Fluency in English for clear communication; customer service orientation is a plus for interacting with clients or team members effectively.
