Requirements:
- Have min of 1 year welding experience in MIG or TIG.
- Be able to read a tape measure.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Have the drive and be willing to work.
- Must be dependable
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools.
- Responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum and stainless-steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.
- Produce metal products according to customer or employer specifications.
- Use multiple welding machines to repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes.
- Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
- Understand and implement personal and company safety measures by wearing Safety glasses, uniforms, steel-toe boots, and other protective items.
- Utilize communication skills to work with team members and converse with customers and clients.
- Keep work area clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds consistently required.
- Ability to identify and measure material.
- Ability to produce quality products consistently.
- Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
- Willingness to learn and display strong, dependable work ethic.
