Warehouse Associate / Driver
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate/Driver is responsible for maintaining efficient movement of materials, equipment, and inventory between company facilities, vendors, job sites, and technicians. This role supports field operations by ensuring materials are delivered accurately, inventory is organized, and technicians have the parts and equipment needed to serve customers efficiently.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-focused, and takes pride in supporting the success of the entire team.
Primary Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
● Receive and verify incoming shipments.
● Assist with inventory organization and warehouse cleanliness.
● Stock shelves, bins, and designated warehouse locations.
● Stage equipment and materials for upcoming installations.
● Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
● Ensure technician pickup areas remain organized and stocked.
Inventory & Logistics Support
● Verify delivery accuracy before loading and unloading.
● Maintain documentation for deliveries, returns, and transfers.
● Utilize Inventory software to track material movement.
● Communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies to management.
● Support purchasing and warehouse teams with material tracking.
● Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels for commonly used parts.
Material & Equipment Transportation
● Deliver parts, materials, and equipment to technicians, installers, and job sites.
● Pick up materials from suppliers and vendors.
● Transfer inventory between company locations as needed.
● Transport warranty parts, returns, and special-order materials.
● Assist with emergency material deliveries to support same-day customer service.
Vehicle & Safety
● Perform daily vehicle inspections.
● Maintain clean and professional company vehicles.
● Follow all DOT and company driving policies.
● Safely load, secure, and transport materials and equipment.
● Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Performance Expectations
● Accurate and timely deliveries.
● Strong communication with warehouse and field teams.
● Maintain warehouse organization standards.
● Minimize inventory errors and lost materials.
● Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with vendors, employees, and customers.
● Consistently uphold company safety standards.
Qualifications
Required
● Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
● Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
● Basic smartphone and tablet proficiency.
● Ability to safely operate company vehicles.
Preferred
● Warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience.
● HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical industry experience.
● Forklift certification or experience.
● Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Physical Requirements
● Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 75 pounds.
● Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
● Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
● Safely operate company vehicles and warehouse equipment.
