Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide skilled in-home care to pediatric and adult clients. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing services while promoting patient comfort, safety, and independence in the home setting. Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Provide tracheostomy care and suctioning as needed.
- Administer enteral nutrition and medications via G-tube.
- Administer oral medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions.
- Observe for and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
- Assist patients with bathing and other personal care needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
- Educate patients and family members regarding care plans and treatments.
- Accurately document all care provided and promptly report changes in patient condition to the supervising clinician and physician.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the service area.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
- Prior experience with tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, medication administration, and seizure monitoring is preferred
