Big Apple Deli was estabilshed in 1986. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including all cooking equipment and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Line Cook in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures within the food industry.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques is highly valued.
