Overview
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses for exciting Travel Nurse opportunities in the following specialties: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical (MS), Emergency Room (ER), and Operating Room (OR).
This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while gaining valuable experience in diverse clinical settings across the country. Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care within your specialty unit (ICU, PCU, MS, ER, or OR).
- Assess patient conditions through vital signs monitoring, clinical evaluation, and ongoing observation.
- Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and other interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions, especially in high-acuity environments such as ICU and ER.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems for accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons (for OR roles), respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain adherence to hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Adapt quickly to new healthcare environments, workflows, and patient populations while maintaining high-quality care standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (Compact License preferred; Single-State License accepted depending on assignment location).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent clinical experience in ICU, PCU, MS, ER, or OR (based on specialty).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Prior travel nursing experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
- Experience with IV insertion, medication administration, patient assessment, and specialty-specific procedures.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS required for ICU, ER, and PCU roles (PALS or specialty certifications preferred where applicable).
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork in fast-paced clinical environments.
