Looking for a highly-motivated individual to join our growing team! We sell Marble, Granite, Quartzite, Quartz Slabs, Pre-Fab, and Tiles for use in Kitchen & Bath Residential and Commercial projects. We are a direct importer and deliver wholesale pricing to the general public. Individual will train with, and work alongside warehouse manager, and is directly involved with the receiving, delivery and inventory of merchandise and maintenance of warehouse.
Requirements:
- A valid California Driver's License
- A clean driving record
- Current forklift certification
- 3+ Years experience working with, and handling Natural Stone & Engineered Stone Slabs
Responsibilities:
- Shipping & Receiving
- Unloading Slabs, Tile & Stone from delivery trucks, checking for damage or missing items, and signing delivery notes.
- Ensuring that all the merchandise/orders are safely and securely prepared and labeled for shipping, delivery or return
- Preparing orders for shipment, loading orders onto trucks, and labeling outgoing parcels
- Delivery
- Frequently driving within a 1-hour radius of the San Jose area
- Occasionally driving 1+ hours outside of the San Jose area
- Collecting merchandise from the warehouse and safely loading for transportation
- Inventory
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
- Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
- Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and showroom.
- Keeps safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat - includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, taking out the trash.
