Overview
We are looking for skilled Over The Road, Class A Truck Drivers to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. Successful candidates will possess strong people skills and have at least five years of Class A Truck Driving experience with Hazmat and Tanker routes. Our drivers are responsible for regionally transporting industrial gases while operating a variety of trucks and trailers. Some deliveries may also involve installation, problem-solving and General mechanical skills. Our deliveries are regional, and you can be on the road up to three to four nights each week.
Responsibilities
- Drive various types of trucks, including tankers, tractor-trailers, and occasionally straight pallet trucks.
- Perform route driving to deliver industrial gases to specified locations in a scheduled and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips and deliveries.
- Preform daily pre and post trip inspections.
- Be self-reliant on the road (call roadside assistance for repairs when required)
Qualifications
- Valid class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- At least five years of Class A Truck Driving experience with Hazmat and Tanker loads,
- Expert knowledge and application of safe driving practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented personality.
- Ability to move gas cylinders and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Proven ability to think and problem solve.
