ABA Protection Inc. is seeking Active-Duty and Recently Retired Police Officers and
Corrections Officers to join our growing team of security professionals in Chicago Area.
Please do not apply unless you are currently employed by, or recently retired from, a state-
certified law enforcement or corrections agency.

Position Responsibilities
Depending on the assignment, officers may perform duties that include:
High-visibility security presence
Foot and vehicle patrols
Access control and credential verification
Crime deterrence and incident prevention
Retail loss prevention support
Responding to disturbances and assisting with disorderly individuals
Emergency response and coordination with local law enforcement
Customer service and public assistance
Preparing accurate incident and activity reports
Protecting client property, employees, and visitors
Assignments vary by contract and location.

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Must provide proof of Peace Officer Certification (Active-Duty) or Retired
Police/Corrections Credentials.
Active-Duty officers must be able to complete a VE-PEC (Verification of Employment
for Police Extra Compensation) or any required authorization from their employing
agency before beginning off-duty assignments.
Must be able to commit to the scheduled shifts you select and maintain dependable
attendance.
Must satisfy all applicable state licensing requirements and client-specific qualifications.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in dynamic situations.
Ability to prepare accurate written reports.
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods as required.
Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
Must legally possess and maintain any certifications or firearm qualifications required by
the specific assignment.
