Company:
A full-service Contract Manufacturing Company located in the North Bay. This position requires a highly motivated candidate who is looking for a great career opportunity with a successful and growing company.
Position Overview:
- The selected candidate will be responsible for materials from raw stock to shipping the finished product. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to quality, organization, math/counting of parts quantities, and keeping current with shipping schedules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as this is a position that interrelates throughout the entire plant.
This is an entry/intermediate position.
Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities, Daily Routines and Expectations:
· Follow verbal and written instructions
· Bag / Wrap Parts (As directed)
· Weigh count and package parts
· Prep Shipping supplies (Cut paper of cardboard)
· Basic wrapping of parts (fully directed)
· Count and package machine parts
· Wrapping of parts using Matrix codes
· Packaging parts for outside processing (Local, Domestic, International)
· Package to protect highly cosmetic products.
· Receiving and Verifying Lower-Level Material against Purchase Order (ERP System)
o Label / Count / Identify and tag Material
· Box up shipments (Count and Barcode)
· Inventory Management (Maintain Accurate Inventory Reports)
· Develop and document packaging processes (Pkg Matrix)
· Create and verify shipping invoices (Verify Destinations)
· This job may require standing and repetitive motion for multiple hours at a time
· The candidate will on occasion have to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation:
· Starting Hourly Wage: (Based on Experience)
