Volvo & Mack Trucks of Waco is seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our Parts Department Sales Team as an Inside Sales Representative. This position is full time, Monday thru Friday - Day Shift. Pay will depend on experience.
Our dealership proudly represents the Volvo and Mack truck brands. We are a locally owned and operated full service dealership with a presence in Central Texas for over 20 years. This Inside Sales position will be responsible for assisting walk in and telephone customers with their parts needs and providing excellent customer service in person and over the phone. Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing and qualifying customer relationships via telephone via outbound sales calls.
Duties include:
- Providing information on availability and pricing of parts using multiple computer programs
- Maximize the customer experience by assessing and meeting customer needs including informing and advising on substitutions, replacements and/or modifications and recognizing up sale opportunities
- Expand existing relationships and develop new customer relationships by utilizing outbound sales call techniques to assess and address customer needs
- Incoming & Outgoing communications with customers via phone and email to fulfill parts needs
- Providing quotes to customers in a timely manner
- Examine parts and/or cores for return eligibility according to manufactures standards and issue customer credit
- Participate in physical inventory counts
- Stock and/or re-stock parts as needed
- Other duties as assigned by manager to facilitate the smooth operation of the parts department
- Processing cash & credit card transactions

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prior automotive and/or heavy duty truck parts experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
