Job Title: Shipping/Production Associate
Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & E-Commerce Associate to support our growing cannabis business. This hands-on role is responsible for daily e-commerce order fulfillment, inventory transfers between facilities, and customer service. You'll work with shipping platforms like ShipStation, interact with customers via email and phone, and ensure that all packages are delivered to the post office before daily cutoff.
This position requires a dependable vehicle (preferably a truck or SUV) for transporting packages and making facility inventory transfers. Candidates must be tech-savvy, comfortable with Windows 10, and experienced with Google Suite and third-party shipping software.
Key Responsibilities: Shipping & Fulfillment
- Daily Order Processing: Pick, pack, and ship orders from our e-commerce platform using ShipStation.
- Post Office Drop-Off: Ensure all outgoing packages are delivered to the post office before 5:00 PM each business day.
- Physical Duties: Sit and stand for extended periods, moving between work stations, handle and move packages up to 70 lbs, and operate pallet jacks as needed.
- Facility Transfers: Transfer inventory between facilities using your personal vehicle (truck or SUV preferred).
Customer Support
- Communication: Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone, providing shipment updates, product details, and general support.
- Problem Solving: Resolve shipping issues and ensure customer satisfaction through clear, professional communication.
Inventory & Data Management
- Inventory Transfers & Tracking: Monitor and update inventory levels using third-party systems; coordinate stock movements between locations.
- Digital Tools: Use Google Sheets, Google Drive, and internal documentation tools for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate: Work closely with inventory and operations teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and smooth workflow.
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)
- Alternating Saturdays: Shorter shifts to process weekend orders
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (truck/SUV strongly preferred)
- Experience with ShipStation or other third-party shipping platforms
- Proficient with Windows 10 and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Comfortable lifting packages up to 70 lbs and performing physical work
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible schedule with availability for rotating Saturdays
- Previous experience in shipping, e-commerce, or inventory management preferred
- Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
