We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laser Technician to join our dynamic team in delivering advanced aesthetic treatments and skincare services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laser technology, esthetic procedures, and customer service, with a passion for helping clients achieve their beauty goals. As a Laser Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laser-based treatments, ensuring client safety, and maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and professionalism. Duties
- Perform laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and other laser-based aesthetic treatments with precision and care.
- Conduct consultations to assess client needs, explain treatment options, and set realistic expectations for outcomes.
- Maintain strict adherence to sanitation procedures and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
- Operate salon software systems such as Zenoti to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage treatment documentation efficiently.
- Educate clients on skincare routines, post-treatment care, and available aesthetic services to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Assist with retail sales of skincare products, waxing supplies, and other related items to support business growth.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in laser technology and aesthetic treatments through ongoing training and industry research.
Skills
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in esthetic laser treatments such as laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, or dermabrasion.
- Knowledge of salon software systems like Zenoti for appointment scheduling and client management.
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures, including proper sterilization techniques for equipment and treatment areas.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients about treatment options and expectations.
- Proficiency in skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, makeup application, tinting services, waxing (body waxing and hair threading), and nail care is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate esthetic equipment safely while maintaining compliance with health regulations.
- Aesthetic certifications or cosmetology licenses are preferred; experience in chemical peels or dermabrasion is advantageous.
