We are currently seeking a Liability Claims Adjuster to fill a remote position based in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland or Pennsylvania.
Position Summary
Our Liability Claims Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve assigned claims in accordance with company standards and procedures as well as state regulatory requirements. Strong (verbal and written) communication, analytical and negotiating skills are a necessity.
Depending upon the specific nature of the claim, proper handling may include coverage analysis, arbitration, subrogation, litigation management, attendance at mediations or trials, coordination of the services of attorneys and/or other service providers unique to the needs of the claim. This specific Claim Adjuster role involves the adjusting of liability and injury exposures arising from both Auto and Property claims. The role may include other duties as assigned.
Liability and injury claim adjusting experience is required. Starting pay will be based on experience and skill set.
Work location will be in-office during the initial 90 day probationary period. Remote availability will be considered after the probationary period. You must have a home office available for your use if working from home and your home location must be located within West Virginia or reasonably close by within one of the adjacent states of Maryland, Virginia, or Pennsylvania.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
