Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club is seeking candidates for the position of Busser/Food Runner. This position is responsible for delivering food to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner. He/she must be able to communicate with guests as well as support both the servers and kitchen staff.
This position is available for the 2026 Summer Season
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently.
- Retrieve orders from the kitchen, perform last quality check to include condiments and garnishes.The ticket must match exactly what is on the tray/ plate.
- Ensure meals are brought out in a timely manner and at the correct temperature; alert front of house management of any long ticket times.
- Knowledge of all ingredient details of every dish on the menu; must be able to describe all items on the menus and know the accompaniments.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff.
- Assist other restaurant team members with duties such as clearing and cleaning tables, filling water glasses and refilling drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and customer areas and returning plates to the kitchen.Continue
- Have knowledge of all hotel and resort operations and services so guest questions can be accurately answered.
