PROJECT MANAGER POSITION
Finding Time Contracting is a well-known and respected remodeling contractor in the Fox Valley. We have served our community’s commercial and residential remodeling needs for 25 years. From the small service job to the large-scale structural remodel, every customer is served with the professionalism, respect, and integrity for which we are known.
Our team is growing. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help manage our workload. Our work is filled with variety. We do interior and exterior work for both commercial and residential clients. Some projects are a few hours and some run a few months. Our work is generally done from Green Bay to Oshkosh and from Chilton to Waupaca. Our office and shop are located in Sherwood near High Cliff State Park. JOB DUTUES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
- Working with client and estimator doing final walk-through before start date
- Scheduling material deliveries and subcontractors
- Overseeing work of crew and subcontractors to ensure the project stays on budget
- Coordinating timing of material deliveries with suppliers and vendors
- Providing direction, support, and over-sight of project
- Analyzing blueprints and specs
- Work with customers on any necessary change orders
- Maintain safety on jobsites
- Pick up and deliver materials as needed
- Acquire necessary permits and working with inspectors throughout project
- Maintaining contact with customers via phone, email, software and in person
- Taking progress photos
- Logging daily activities and schedules into construction management software
- Report to owners with regular progress updates
- Oversee final clean up and inspection
- Estimate smaller jobs
The ideal candidate with possess the following qualities:
- A minimum of 8 years construction experience
- 3 years Project Management experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of municipal codes, permitting and licensing
- Must be cool under pressure and demonstrate flexibility
- Ability to make sound judgement calls
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to be a supportive coach to less experienced crew members
- Must be extremely organized and have attention to detail
- Willingness to use and have knowledge of email, excel, windows application
- Ability to interact with clients, vendors, subcontractors, crew with respect and integrity
- Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Must be willing and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience budgeting and be accountable to the numbers
- Must work well under pressure in fast-paced setting
- Must be willing and able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, crawl, lift over 50 lbs
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass pre-employment as well as random drug test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
