We are growing! The Sierra Medical Partnership is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. We are looking to fill a position in a fast-paced, multi-location General Surgery practice located in El Dorado Hills, Roseville and Sacramento. Traveling between the 3 locations is required. We are dedicated to providing patients with quality care and are looking to build upon our patient-centered team.
This position is recommended for applicants who have been a Medical Assistant for 1-2yrs minimum. There will be opportunities for growth in our practice by learning and mastering new tasks to become a multifaceted member of our team. - 1-2 years medical assistant in a clinical setting experience required
- Front/Back Office Experience required
- Must be comfortable answering phones and working with insurances (authorizations, inputting, calling, etc.)
- Administrative tasks are required - EDD/FMLA paperwork, authorizations, referrals, medical record tasks.
- Rooming patients/taking vitals/presenting patients to physicians
- Discussing surgical consents
- Some procedural tray set up and clean up.
- This is a full time position with a starting salary range of $22-$25 dollars per hour (depending on experience and skills).
