Hasten Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis (HHAI) is seeking a compassionate, collaborative School Counselor to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral well-being of our K–8 students.
As a valued member of our close-knit school community, you'll partner with teachers, families, and administrators to help every child grow academically, emotionally, and personally in a nurturing environment grounded in Jewish values.

Responsibilities
Provide individual and small-group counseling for students.
- Support students' social-emotional, behavioral, and academic success.
- Implement age-appropriate social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives.
- Partner with families, teachers, and administrators to develop student support plans.
- Respond to student crises and coordinate appropriate interventions and referrals.
- Participate in Student Support Team (SST), MTSS/RTI, and school intervention planning.
- Promote a positive, inclusive school culture rooted in kindness, respect, and responsibility.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events while supporting the mission of HHAI.

Qualifications
Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Indiana licensure (or eligibility) required.
- Experience working with children in a school or counseling setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
Experience in independent or faith-based schools and familiarity with Jewish culture are a plus.
