Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with professionalism.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customers to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized and attractive shopping environment.
- Perform upselling by suggesting complementary products or upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times.
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks to keep the store well-stocked and inviting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced environments such as grocery stores or retail outlets.
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math to support store operations effectively.
- Experience with product demos and upselling techniques that drive sales growth.
