Fabrication Assistant
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description
- Assist with metal fabrication, assembly, and general shop operations
- Utilize hand tools and power tools throughout the shift
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials using tape measures and shop equipment
- Support welders, fabricators, and production staff with daily manufacturing tasks
- Move materials, components, and fabricated parts safely throughout the shop
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow production instructions, work orders, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with general labor, material handling, and manufacturing duties as needed
Qualifications
- No experience required — training provided
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and work throughout the shift
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation required
