Parking Systems of America, a premier full-service parking company, is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide leadership, management, and oversight for all parking operations, including parking facilities, equipment, and programs within areas of assigned responsibility. This position includes administrative and technical support and supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide the highest level of hospitality and service to our clients and train staff to uphold the service standards of the property.
Provide leadership and supervision for full-time and part-time staff including parking attendants, enforcement agents, and customer service representatives.
Oversee all parking-related services and day-to-day operations to ensure quality.
Implement parking policies and procedures to meet client expectations and standards for excellence.
Supervise revenue collection, monitor, and review daily logs for completeness and accuracy, and conduct regular audits.
Analyze and prepare parking data to produce various reports and metrics, including accurate and timely monthly revenue reports.
Ensure accurate and timely billing and accounting procedures.
Track and monitor operational expenses and supplies, review discrepancies, and adhere to assigned operating budget.
Interact in person, over the phone, and through e-mail to resolve parking related complaints, inquiries, and claims and effectively disseminate information related to parking policies, assignments, enforcement, and parking violations.
Manage parking technology including equipment inspection, maintenance, minor repairs, replacement of parts, and scheduling of service.
Ensure adherence to all established policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and laws
Responsible for personnel recruiting, training, scheduling, payroll, and disciplinary action
Use computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail, and database software to perform work assignments
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Minimum 2 years related management and supervisory experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce professional correspondence and prepare oral and written reports regarding operations
Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from clients, customers, and internal stakeholders
Ability to effectively use organizational, management and planning skills, with high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced working environment
Ability to manage difficult situations without supervision
