POSITION SUMMARY
The Grill Cook is responsible for the preparation of food items in various areas of the kitchen as well as cleaning and maintaining station equipment in accordance with all food safety and sanitation requirements. The Grill Cook works as part of the kitchen team to create and foster a dynamic and organized work environment.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follows all recipes, controls, portion and presentation specifications as set forth by the restaurant establishment
- Assumes full responsibility for the quality of the food products served
- Tracks and reports food waste as instructed based on kitchen policy
- Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Handles, stores and rotates all products properly in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Prepares dishes for customers with food allergies and/or intolerances
- 1 - 2 years previous experience in a restaurant environment
- Works well under pressure and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Multitasks while maintaining attention to consistency and detail
- Must possess a passion for food, exceptional work ethic and dedication
