Job Description:
The Outcomes Service in Rockville, MD has an immediate opening for a Community Support Specialist I - Virtual CDS Facilitator.
The Virtual CDS Facilitator will plan, coordinate and provide direct support to the people we serve with intellectual/developmental disabilities on zoom or other virtual platforms.
This is a part time position. 18 hours per week. Direct hours 9:00am - 1:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday plus two hours planning time per week.
Pay Rate is $20 per hour
Overview:
- Plan and facilitate virtual sessions including skill-building, creative activities, fitness, social games, and community access topics.

Support participants in building skills in areas such as daily living, communication, wellness, and self-advocacy.

Promote inclusive participation and provide individualized support as needed within the group setting.

Maintain clear and accurate documentation of sessions and participant progress.

Communicate effectively with participants, families, and team members regarding program content and participant engagement.

Collaborate with other staff to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.

Provides supports to Case Managers in providing services for the people we serve.

Facilitates the progress of a person's targeted goals and work behaviors utilizing lesson plans and teaching methods.

Completes and processes reports, case notes and other documentation in a timely manner.
Experience and Skills:
Required Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma.

Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and facilitation skills.

Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.

Comfort and proficiency with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom).
