Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shelton Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for someone who has a kind approach with the elderly, is a good listener, can build rapport easily, and has good communication skills. If you are interested in making a difference in our residents' lives and can work collaboratively with others, we would love to have you apply for our Temporary Activities Coordinator position and be a part of the Evergreen Healthcare Group family.
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately one to two months. The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life of our residents while promoting engagement, socialization, and resident satisfaction.
Implement group programming that promotes interaction between residents.
Notifies residents and staff of activity schedules.
Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis in order to provide:
Selects residents and communicates with nursing personnel for purpose of assistance in transporting residents to and from general activity areas.
Responsible for coordinating, planning, and overseeing daily activity programs.
Maintains activity calendars, schedules, and required documentation.
Responsible for general housekeeping duties in Activity areas.
