The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment used in a warehouse or production environment to ensure smooth and safe operations.
The positions are for the 2nd shift with the following schedules:
- 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
- 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment, including conveyors, mixers, fillers, and sealing machines
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and repair documentation
- Ensure all equipment complies with food safety regulations, GMPs, and company policies
- Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery and production lines
- Respond quickly to emergency repair requests to minimize production downtime
- Work closely with production supervisors and quality teams to support operational goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in food manufacturing or industrial production
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
