Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Laborer to assist in the delivery, placement, and installation of boilers, tanks, and large vessels. This position supports welders, riggers, and installers in transporting, staging, and preparing equipment on industrial and construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading boilers, tanks, and related equipment onto trucks and trailers for delivery to job sites.
- Help position and secure equipment during transit to ensure safe transport.
- Support welders and boiler builders by staging tools, materials, and components at job sites.
- Perform basic rigging tasks under supervision, including attaching lifting devices, guiding loads, and ensuring clear pathways.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, if certified.
- Help set up and break down temporary work areas, barricades, and safety equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, yard, and job sites.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other general labor and support duties as assigned by supervisors or project leads.

- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Site Safety Training (SST) certificate (e.g., OSHA 30 or required NYC DOB SST card).
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (typically 50–75 lbs) and work in outdoor conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and weekends as required.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety; commitment to following safety protocols.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
