Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a warm welcome. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly disposition, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and reservations.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain an organised front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Process payments accurately and maintain records of transactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling inquiries professionally.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
