Candidates for the Executive Sous Chef position must have at least three years’ experience as a sous chef in an upscale restaurant, hotel, university or private club, must have a working knowledge of culinary techniques, must be able to effectively order, inventory and price menu items, and must be able to understand basic business apps like Word and Excel. Team leadership, attention to detail and setting the members’ experience as their top priority are paramount to the successful performance of this position.
