The Supervisor I oversees staff responsible for fiscal processes by developing, maintaining, and monitoring multiple internal funding tracking resources. Oversees the review and preparation of invoices, ensures accurate submission, logs and monitors the completion of payments resulting from all ADAP procurements, and guides staff in troubleshooting invoice issues by conducting research and presenting viable options to the Program Integrity and Operations (PIOS) Section Chief. Monitors staff billing to ensure these costs are recorded in alignment with established grant budgets and funding models. In addition, the Supervisor I coordinates the ADAP Branch’s responses regarding payment issues and inquiries connected to the OA Support Branch. With assistance from the PIOS Section Chief, the Supervisor I supports the development and maintenance of guidance for the Branch to effectively administer fiscal operations. Works collaboratively with the managers and staff throughout OA, as well as CDPH administrative areas, and other federal, state, and local agencies.
The incumbent works under the general direction of the Supervisor II, PIOS Chief.

In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025. This program temporarily reduces employees’ monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly base pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. Travel may be required for this position. Reimbursement for travel takes into consideration an employee’s designated headquarters, as reflected in the duty statement, and is subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the designated headquarters office will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
