Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Construction Supervisor, you will coordinate with project teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow and communication
- Monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards and ensure quality control measures are upheld
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and facilitate proper execution of work
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and overseeing procurement processes using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools
- Lead supervising efforts by mentoring crew members, managing labor allocations, and resolving on-site issues promptly
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in heavy civil or infrastructure projects involving pipelines or large-scale developments
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools for project tracking and documentation
- Demonstrated ability in managing project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration within complex construction environments
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; familiarity with Ohmmeter usage for electrical testing is a plus
- Supervising experience that highlights leadership skills in managing diverse teams while maintaining high safety standards
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes including the use of HeavyBid or similar software for accurate cost projections
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations combined with practical knowledge of quality control procedures on active construction sites
