CCA welcomes applications for a teacher to work with children ages ranging from 18 months to 6 years. The applicant will be responsible for providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for the children and planning creative and engaging activities that promote the development of the whole child. The applicant will be responsible for providing a nurturing atmosphere and maintaining good classroom management. Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Classroom experience preferred. A pleasant personality that encourages a cooperative work environment, self-motivation, effective judgment and tact, problem-solving ability, effective listening, clear oral communication, and strong written communication skills are required. Strong relationship-building skills with both parents & children are required. Typical work hours will be between 7 AM – 5:30 PM Monday-Friday averaging 35-40 hours per week.
