What You'll Be Doing
- Manage a sophisticated civil litigation practice from inception through resolution
- Maintain and continue developing an existing book of business and client relationships
- Handle complex litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Oversee litigation strategy, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and provide exceptional legal counsel
- Mentor and collaborate with associate attorneys and other team members
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the firm's continued growth
- Work across practice areas to identify opportunities for cross-selling and expanded client services
What They're Looking For
- 8+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
- Demonstrated success developing and maintaining client relationships
- An established and portable book of business
- Strong courtroom presence and strategic litigation experience
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to continue growing a practice
- Collaborative leadership style and strong cultural fit
- Wisconsin Bar admission or ability to obtain admission promptly
