We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Technician to run daily operations at our quick lube shop. This role performs the majority of customer oil changes while also leading workflow, training junior techs, managing inventory, and ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly, and reliable service. If you take pride in doing quality work and enjoy leading by example, this is a strong long-term opportunity.
Consistent 50-hour work week available.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Oil Change Technician: Perform fast, accurate oil changes and basic vehicle services while delivering a positive, professional customer experience
- Open & Closing Responsibilities: Lead daily shop operations including opening/closing, workflow management, and maintaining a clean, safe service environment
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage equipment to keep the shop fully stocked and running smoothly
- Customer Service: Greet customers, explain recommended services, and ensure a positive, professional experience.
- Team Support: Train, coach, and support junior technicians to ensure consistent service quality and strong team culture
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Follow all company procedures and manufacturer guidelines and proper disposal.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in oil changes or automotive maintenance (prior experience in quick lube or automotive service a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lead by example and being a positive contribution to a team
- Clear communication skills with customers and coworkers
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on your feet
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
