Direct Support Professional (DSP) – CRA Home
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities in a CRA Home. DSPs play a vital role in helping participants build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and enjoy a safe and supportive environment.
Schedule: 2pm-10pm (Monday–Friday)
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living
- Medication administration (after required training)
- Supporting community outings and appointments
- Maintaining a safe and clean home environment
- Completing daily documentation and incident reports
- Promoting independence, dignity, and person-centered care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift approximately 15–25 lbs as needed
- Assist participants with mobility and daily activities when necessary
