RN Supervisor
Reports To: Administrator
Position Description:
The RN supervisor is responsible for coordinating all resident care services delivered by the Agency in one location. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the resident plan of care. Additionally, the RN is responsible for the overall supervision, competency, In-service education and evaluation of licensed and non-licensed staff delivering resident care.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs the intake and referral process for the new residents
- Assures the coordination of service delivery with other providers, if applicable.
- Development and communication of the plan of care to the staff.
- Prepares and coordinates discharge plans.
- Orients residents and family to the services provided by the agency.
- Participates in orientation, supervision, evaluation and continuing in-service education of staff.
- Responsible for medication management, MAR and medication training.
- Discharge planning and placement of residents as appropriate.
- Maintains a clinical record for each resident and documents according to regulation standard.
- Assures the standards are maintained for all health care services.
- Participates in quality improvement activities.
- Provides professional input to agency policies and procedures
- Assigns personnel in accordance with training and, procedures.
- Coordinate assignments of staff.
Education skills and Experience Required: Valid NYS Registered Nursing Licenses Three years of Nursing Experience in home care, long-term care ,acute care or related setting.
- Familiar with NYS Department Of Health Regulations
- Preferable clinical, supervisory, administrative, organizational, writing and communication tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
