Project Architect III
Paradym Ventures is seeking a licensed Project Architect who wants to lead projects, influence design decisions, work directly with clients, and play a visible role in a growing architecture practice.
This is not a production-only role.
You will lead commercial projects from concept through construction, participate in design development, coordinate consultants, present ideas to clients, and mentor junior staff. You’ll work closely with firm leadership while building the experience needed to advance into a Senior Architect position leading multiple teams.
This is a full-time, in-office position designed for architects who value collaboration, mentorship, and direct engagement with clients and project teams. What You’ll Be Responsible ForProject Leadership
· Lead projects from programming and schematic design through construction administration
· Manage project schedules, coordination, and deliverables
· Oversee one to two projects simultaneously, occasionally three depending on project size and phase
· Ensure quality, consistency, and technical accuracy throughout project delivery
Design & Client Engagement
· Participate in design concept development and project storytelling
· Create and present design solutions internally and to clients
· Translate design intent into clear, buildable architectural documentation
· Build trusted client relationships through consistent communication and leadership
Technical Documentation
· Produce and oversee high-quality Revit models and drawing sets
· Lead documentation efforts through SD, DD, and CD phases
· Maintain drawing quality, coordination, and constructability
Consultant Coordination
· Coordinate Structural, MEP, Civil, and specialty consultants
· Resolve interdisciplinary conflicts and technical challenges
· Lead coordination meetings and manage consultant deliverables
Construction Administration
· Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
· Conduct site visits and prepare Architect’s Field Reports
· Support successful project execution through construction completion
Team Development
· Mentor emerging architects and designers
· Provide technical guidance and project support
· Contribute to a collaborative studio culture
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you will:
· Independently manage project delivery from design through construction
· Lead client meetings with confidence
· Maintain high-quality documentation standards across multiple projects
· Build strong consultant relationships
· Help develop junior staff
· Become a trusted project leader within the firm
Required Qualifications
· Licensed Architect (Tennessee license or ability to obtain reciprocity)
· 8+ years of commercial architecture experience
· Experience leading projects through multiple phases of delivery
· Advanced Revit proficiency
· Experience coordinating full consultant teams
· Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
· Hospitality project experience includes hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues
· Mixed-use or urban commercial project experience
· Experience in a small, highly collaborative firm environment
· Construction administration experience
· Client presentation and relationship management experience

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
