Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience at the bar.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to keep our offerings fresh and exciting for repeat guests.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; communicate needs for restocking.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to support catering events or banquet services when needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service throughout each shift.
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order entry and cashiering.
- Proven cocktail crafting skills with knowledge of beverage recipe development and presentation techniques.
- Strong understanding of wine varieties, brewing processes, craft beer styles, and beverage pairings.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods seamlessly.
- Prior fine dining or hospitality experience preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate billing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
