Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a pristine environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and efficiently to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and outdoor areas when necessary.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is in good working condition for optimal performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial or custodial experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques such as floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, and surface sanitation.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment, and safety protocols related to sanitation procedures.
- Ability to perform outdoor work when required, including outdoor surface cleaning or yard tidying.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes or client requests.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks involved in housekeeping duties.
- Excellent client communication skills to understand preferences and ensure satisfaction.
- Experience in residential housekeeping management or supervising other staff is a plus.
