About the Role
Garage Door Solutions is hiring a Garage Door Technician to join our growing team serving residential and commercial customers throughout Northern Virginia. No garage door experience? No problem — we provide paid, hands-on training with an experienced technician before you're sent out on your own.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair garage door openers, springs, cables, rollers, and tracks
- Provide professional, courteous service during in-home appointments
- Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory in company vehicle
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers on job status
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Mechanically inclined; comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders/in varied weather conditions
- Prior experience in HVAC, electrical, automotive repair, general contracting, or similar mechanical trades preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills

Schedule: Monday–Friday, [with occasional Saturday/on-call rotation if applicable]
Pay: $73,912.96 - $89,013.46 per year
