What You’ll Be Doing
- Doing official state inspections on all types of vehicles—checking brakes, lights, tires, emissions, and more
- Letting customers know what passed and what didn’t (and explaining things in an approachable manner)
- Keeping accurate records of your inspections
- Staying on top of safety rules and making sure every car meets the legal standards
- Working with a solid, supportive team that’s got your back
What We’re Looking For
- You MUST be a certified Virginia State Vehicle Inspector
- You’ve got a good eye for spotting problems before they become real issues
- You can explain things clearly and respectfully to customers
- You know your way around cars and understand safety standards
- You’re independent but still a team player
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience doing inspections or working in auto repair
- Good organizational skills and the ability to keep things moving
- Knowledge of Virginia’s specific inspection rules and laws
