Wolverine Lawn Services is seeking a dedicated, full-time Fertilization Technician to join our team serving residential and commercial properties throughout West Michigan. Apply granular and liquid fertilizers to lawns and turf areas according to company standards and product labels

Perform weed, insect, and disease control applications as needed

Diagnose turf issues, including pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies

Recommend additional services or treatment plans to improve turf health

Communicate professionally with customers about treatments performed and provide guidance on lawn care best practices

Address customer questions and escalate concerns when necessary

Operate and calibrate spreaders, sprayers, and other turf care equipment safely and accurately

Maintain clean, organized vehicles and equipment

Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling regulations

Record treatment data, materials used, and property notes accurately

Review route schedules and complete work orders as assigned

Support snow season activities as needed

Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping

Knowledge of turfgrass species, weeds, insects, and diseases

State pesticide applicator license (Core, 3A, 3B, 6) or willingness to obtain

Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a chauffeur's license

Strong communication and customer service skills

$22 - $26 per hour, based on experience
