About the Position
Our center provides therapeutic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays in a highly engaging, sensory-rich classroom environment. Therapists work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide small group and classroom-based speech therapy services that promote participation, regulation, communication, and independence.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in a classroom-based setting.
- Lead and support sensory-rich group activities designed to improve regulation, attention, fine motor skills, play, and independence.
- Collaborate with Special Education Teachers, Speech-Language Pathologists, ABA staff, and classroom teams.
- Adapt activities and environments to meet each child's sensory and developmental needs.
- Document sessions and progress in accordance with Early Intervention requirements.
- Communicate professionally with families and interdisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
- Licensed Speech Therapist (OT) or Clincal fellow (CFY) eligible to work in New York State.
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of sensory integration and sensory regulation strategies.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for helping young children reach their full potential.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
