The Role
We're hiring a civil engineer with hands-on experience creating complete plans, including site design, calculations, and drafting. This is a production-focused role with project management, business development, and leadership opportunitites to compliment your experience.
This fully remote position (or in-office in St. Louis, if you'd like) is open to mid and senior levels and we’ll tailor responsibilities and pay to your background.

What You'll Do
- Produce civil engineering designs, calculations, and reports across a general mix of project types, primarily municipal, industrial, and land development.
- Draft and deliver complete, construction-ready plan sets.
- Prepare site, grading, utility, and drainage plans and supporting calculations.
- Shepard projects through the permitting process.
- Assemble Opinions of Probable Construction Cost.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders from the concept phase through construction closeout.
- Prepare proposals and assist or lead business development efforts.

What We're Looking For
- Ability to independently produce accurate civil site designs, calculations, and plan sets.
- Licensed engineer
- Proficiency in a civil CAD platform. Carlson and/or Civil 3D preferred.
- Solid civil engineering fundamentals and the discipline to get the details right.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- A self-starter who manages time, owns work, and asks good questions before issues grow.
- Land surveying experience is a plus.
Compensation
We pay for ability, independence, responsibility, and results.
- Experienced production engineer: generally $95,000-$120,000, depending on project responsibility.
- PE / project manager: generally $115,000-$135,000, depending on ability, leadership, and responsibility.
- Experienced PE / project manager who also brings in profitable work: $135,000+ plus incentive bonus opportunity.
- Benefits: health insurance, PTO, profit sharing, training, and continuing education. Final pay and benefits depend on experience and ability.
