Position Details:
As an experienced Semi-Trailer Technician, you will:
- Perform expert-level repair and maintenance on air brake systems, hydraulics, lift axles, and ABS.
- Utilize advanced fabrication and welding skills for structural and custom repair tasks.
- Execute frame straightening and structural restoration with precision.
- Diagnose and repair walking floors and other trailer-specific systems.
- Work on a variety of trailer types, including specialized units requiring advanced mechanical expertise.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience as a semi- trailer technician, with expertise in fabrication, frame straightening, air brakes, lift axles, and walking floor systems.
- Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication techniques.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex trailer systems.
- Mechanical certification or relevant technical training is preferred but not required for highly experienced candidates.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour, based on experience, with performance bonuses available.
