Line Cook – Pasta & Grill Station
Gabriella’s Modern Italian in Delray Beach is hiring an experienced Line Cook for a hybrid pasta and grill station position.
We are looking for a strong, reliable cook who can handle the pace of a high-volume Italian restaurant. This position requires someone who is confident working pasta station during busy service while also being able to execute grill station items with consistency, proper timing, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is organized, clean, focused, and able to work well with the chef team and other line cooks during fast-paced service. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their station, understands urgency, and can help maintain the quality and consistency our guests expect.
Responsibilities include:
- Working pasta station during high-volume lunch and dinner service
- Cooking pasta dishes to order with proper timing, consistency, and presentation
- Executing grill station items including proteins, vegetables, and other menu items
- Maintaining proper cooking temperatures and quality standards
- Following recipes, prep lists, portioning, and plating guidelines
- Setting up and breaking down stations before and after service
- Keeping a clean, organized, and stocked workstation
- Communicating clearly with chefs, expo, and other line cooks during service
- Assisting with daily prep and general kitchen duties as needed
- Following food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
Requirements:
- Previous line cook experience required
- Pasta station experience strongly preferred
- Grill station experience required
- High-volume restaurant experience preferred
- Italian restaurant experience is a plus
- Must be able to work quickly and cleanly under pressure
- Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Must be able to follow direction and execute recipes consistently
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
