About Hybrid Counseling
Hybrid Counseling is a Minnesota-based mental health and addiction treatment practice that has provided telehealth services since 2014—long before virtual care became mainstream.
Our multidisciplinary team includes therapists, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs), psychiatric providers, and outpatient treatment professionals working together to provide comprehensive care for individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
As our psychiatry program continues to grow, we are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Psychiatrist to join our team.
We are open to both experienced providers and those looking to build their outpatient practice.

Position Responsibilities
- Psychiatric evaluations
- Medication management
- Treatment planning
- Collaboration with therapists and addiction counselors
- Documentation within our electronic health record
- Optional participation in program development and clinical consultation
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Holds an active Minnesota PMHNP or Physician license with psychiatric prescribing authority
- Values high-quality, evidence-based care
- Enjoys collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
- Is comfortable using telehealth technology
- Is self-motivated and able to manage an independent schedule
- Wants flexibility without sacrificing professional support
Position Type
- Independent Contractor (preferred)
- Employee position may be available for the right long-term candidate
- Full-time or Part-time
Work Location
Primarily remote, serving clients throughout Minnesota.
Optional in-person clinic opportunities are available in St. Paul for providers interested in a hybrid schedule.
Compensation
Compensation is highly competitive and based on experience, productivity, and scheduling preferences. We are committed to offering one of the strongest outpatient compensation models in the region.
