Human Resources Generalist
Redstone Foods, Inc. is the largest confectionery wholesaler in the Southwest. Family-owned and operated since 1966, we proudly distribute more than 6,000 candy, snack, and glass bottle soda products to thousands of retail partners across the United States and internationally.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team and help support a growing, fast-paced distribution and warehouse operation. This role partners closely with the Human Resources Manager and operations leadership to drive employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee relations, training, compliance, and workforce development.
The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional who enjoys being visible on the warehouse floor, building strong relationships with employees and managers, solving problems, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Schedule
This position is fully on-site and supports employees across multiple shifts.
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Flexibility to adjust hours occasionally to support business and employee needs is required.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried positions
- Source, screen, interview, and coordinate hiring decisions with department leaders
- Lead new hire onboarding, orientation, and training coordination
- Ensure a positive candidate and employee onboarding experience
Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration
- Process weekly payroll and maintain attendance records
- Administer employee benefits and assist employees with enrollment and benefit-related questions
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies
- Support HR reporting and documentation requirements
Employee Relations & Workforce Support
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and supervisors
- Partner with operations leaders on employee relations matters, coaching, performance management, and corrective actions
- Assist with investigations and support the consistent application of company policies
- Promote a positive, respectful, and engaging workplace culture
Employee Engagement & Organizational Development
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and company events
- Facilitate an employee committee focused on workplace culture and employee experience
- Identify training and development opportunities in partnership with managers
- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance HR efficiency and support company growth
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience recruiting, staffing, and supporting frontline or warehouse employees
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Must reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth area
Preferred
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification
- Experience supporting distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Payroll and benefits administration experience
