Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality Satrbucks coffee beverages and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing
- Assist customers in selecting products from the market area, providing friendly and knowledgeable service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and market spaces, adhering to food safety standards and food handling protocols
- Manage cash register operations, including cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling food items, packaging products, and restocking shelves efficiently
- Uphold excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Prior barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and serving standards
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a retail or food industry setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
- Experience with cashiering duties, serving customers, and managing food industry standards is preferred
- Ability to work full-time hours including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment
